Play the guitar with Murray...
Today was kind of sucky. I've felt stressed and on the go since 9 this morning. The day has included a funeral (Pastor Ron's dad), a doctor's appointment (Ethan's), an accounting screw-up at work, a crappy converstation with a friend, crazy co-workers (mainly Joyce, which kind of counts for 3-4 co-workers) and to top it off-someone asked me if I was having twins today (There's just one baby in there!). I didn't get home until 7 PM. I was so tired that I pulled Ethan's high chair into the living room and turned on a pre-recorded episode of "Little Einsteins", gave him a big bowl of Cheerios and let him go crazy. At least Cheerios are good for you! :o)
John was gracious to put Ethan in bed while I went to go take a long bath. Right before I did that though, Ethan started dancing around the house singing this song from The Wiggles called "Play the guitar with Murray". He had pulled out this little dime store guitar and was jamming away and singing his heart out. I couldn't help but laugh. It was an instant stress reliever. Who knew that a Wiggles song sung by a Cheerio-covered, dancing toddler could relieve stress way better than a good hot soak in the tub! :o)
I'm feeling more and more confident about staying at home with Ethan and the new baby (Erin). It still freaks me out sometimes but I have peace that this is going to be an incredibly awesome time.
Friday starts week # 34 of this pregnancy! Whoo hoo!!! :o) Erin had hiccups tonight. I'd forgotten what that felt like. When I was pregnant with Ethan, he had them all of the time. This is only the second time that Erin has gotten them. It was so sweet!
Ok, my pillow (or big mountain of pillows as John likes to tease me!) is calling me. "You are getting sleepy..." :o)

Awesome! There's nothing like a Cheerio-coated toddler to lift your spirits, especially when it's yours! I can relate, though, to your tough day. I'm glad you have such a wonderful family and husband. That always helps. Oh, and how cool that you have an "Ethan", too. You'll love having a boy and a girl together. It's precious. Keep rockin', Murray!
Where are you, girl? Write something and let us know you're okay. Erin Joy hasn't made her debut, has she?
She's here! (see the next few postings for details) Sorry I haven't posted much. I'm kind of sleepless right now. Ha!
