I've got to brag...

This is the email that John's boss sent out today.

"I am pleased to announce that John Richard has been promoted to Research Associate II ( R&D), effective immediately.

John Richard has more than 8 years CRO working experiences including more than 6 years in Covance. During his 6 years in Covance, he took several roles as MS operator, Study coordinator, as well as R&D research associate I. In each of his function role, he performed very well.

Since joining method development group as research associate I in 2005, John learned the method development skill very quickly. With a sharp learning curve, and the helps from other staff scientists, he has developed and/or validated more than 15 methods including some difficult assays. He submitted two posters to AAPS and ASMS as first author, and both are accepted. John also is an excellent trainer in training new chemists, operators, and study coordinators. With his broad and solid knowledge across sample accession, extraction and MS labs, John serves as a very good technical resource and has provided a lot of helps to operation peers. John also helped operation to troubleshoot several assays. Besides, John is actively participating in the SOP revision committee; actively provides feedbacks and suggestions to managers for process improvement. His teamwork spirit, his commitment to Signature Client Service, and his dedication to Covance business growth are all well appreciated by the colleagues.
